Help deliver national training materials
Our safeguarding training ensures that volunteers offer girls a safe space where they can have fun, learn and grow. We are looking for an additional trainer to support us with the delivery of the nationally-developed training materials, primarily in a face-to-face environment. Trainings normally take place in the evenings or at weekends as most volunteers are working during the day.
You may be exempt from completing Girlguiding’s Trainer Qualification
Girlguiding have put in place a process and requirements around recognising prior teaching and training learning experience which enables volunteers to be exempt from the requirements of the Girlguiding Trainer Qualification when delivering A Safe Space. All of the information about how to meet these requirements can be found here: https://www.girlguiding.org.uk/globalassets/docs-and-resources/learning-and-development/a-safe-space/recognising-prior-learning-process-form.pdf
